Hi! My name is Chanel Brown. Baker, Dessert Artist, self-proclaimed "Black Girl Boss", or what I like to call myself “the HBIC”, (Head Baker in Charge)! I am the proud owner of ConfectioNels Bakery LLC; a bakery located in Northern, Virginia. With ConfectioNels being around for 5 years, I have developed a deep passion for creating the most amazing & delicious desserts for special occasions.⁣

I started baking at a young age as a hobby to help with my anxiety. At the time, I was only baking for friends & family until one day in January of 2020 I decided to turn a hobby into a business & share my talents with the world. Now, I am the happiest I've ever been & my business is growing everyday & it's all thanks to you guys! I wouldn't be where I am without the love & support I receive!⁣

When I'm not baking, I am teaching high school students in the ID/AUT department. I often get asked by my students what I do outside of work & when they find out I own a bakery they become invested in the desserts I have created. It really warms my heart that they want to feel apart of what I love doing.⁣
